Families can’t get enough of The Lunch Room Game, saying, "We got this game on the recommendation of a friend and it didn't disappoint. I have a 10 yr old who loves it! She's pulled it out and asked us to play a round every night since it arrived."

About The Founder

The Lunch Room Game was imagined by Chrissy Fagerholt, who was inspired to create the game after thinking back on her days as a lunch lady. Chrissy shared: “I worked as a lunch lady for a year and not much had changed since I was in school, the trays, the food (including the coveted tater tots), and the kids who fell into specific rolls.”

Chrissy Fagerholt is the founder of EAP Toy and Games, and she create party games and board games for kids and adults. EAP Games are intentionally created to be fun for all ages, by making them easy to learn and incorporating humor and nostalgia into the gameplay. Before falling into the world of games and toys,

Chrissy spent 17 years as a floral designer, loving the creativity and connection such a career offers. In fact, everything she has chosen to do throughout her different career choices has always involved a way to connect people, including both greeting card and invitation design. After a fateful night out with friends from her childhood, a game idea was born, after coming up with an idea to simply entertain ourselves. Chrissy and her friends took this idea and ran with it, creating a successful Kickstarter, followed by a licensing deal with Goliath.

Chrissy loved the process of creating the game and realized it tapped into a passion she wanted to continue, and EAP Toy and Games was born. Chrissy loves to give and get laughs, so she knew this had to be at the core of my products, because she believes it takes no more than a shared laugh to create instant connection.

A Proud Toy Creators Academy Alumni

When Chrissy was asked, “What is the one thing that TCA helped you with on your toy/game journey?”

She answered, “The value of the toyetic property and how it elevated what started as just cards and a board, brought the best part of the game to life, the squishy tater tots.”
