I am a Toy Designer and a grad student earning my master's degree in art education. Before Toy Creators Academy I was frustrated that there were certain parts of the toy making process that I wasn't familiar with. I felt if I knew more about the toy making process I could improve my toy design ability and be a better professional toy designer. TCA showed me step by step what I needed to know and provided me with the resources I needed to one day make my own ideas a reality.

As a designer in the toy industry you have to go a mile a minute when working with a toy company designing dozens of products a season. It can be hard to stay up to date with market research and toy trends but TCA gave me the knowledge to do just that.

A was able to create an extensive research survey and report on the most popular toy trends which improved my toy designs at my full time job and my assignments in grad school .

I had a pretty big toy company contact list before TCA because I’ve worked in the toy industry for 6+ years and I’m an FIT Toy Design Alumni. Now after TCA my contact list is even bigger!

Toy Creators Academy took what I already know about making a toy in the industry to a whole other level. It has made me a better designer, entrepreneur, and innovator. It help me develop a sixth sense of knowing how to create a great toy idea and make it happen as well as gave me insight into my consumer base which I was able to use for other parts of my life outside of toy designing.

I am grateful for this experience and feel I have not just developed a new set of connections but good friends I will know for years to come.
